Workshop songs are recorded in sheds, houses, pubs and clubs in an era when cassette recorders were the only means of recording for a struggling band.
So, here in the Workshop we have an emporium of live and poorly recorded versions of some very fine songs. We thought we ought to hide them in the shed in case anyone popped in unexpectedly and got frightened away.
However if you’ve made it this far then perhaps you liked what you heard elsewhere on the site and came for a rummage, or maybe nostalgia brought you here?
Either way bear in mind the limitations of the recordings and enjoy the songs, but if you’re the type who wouldn’t buy a house because you didn’t like the wallpaper, probably best you don’t come in 😀
